Cambridge Resources Unveils New Electronic Security Seal Features and ISO IP69K Certification
August, 2009 - Brooklyn, NY - Cambridge Resources unveiled several significant new features to its industry leading line of electronic security seals.
MANTA, the most dynamic and versatile electronic seal on the market, has been redesigned to include a new lock-out feature that prevents the user from accidentally turning the handle in the wrong direction, thereby initiating a new unique seal number. This customer-driven design change has met with great approval and appreciation from loss prevention managers, since it eliminates many of the unnecessary security audits triggered by user error.
An additional element to the MANTA's redesign is an alteration to the housing to increase the product's already strong resistance to water and dust.
In large part due to these improvements, MANTA has been certified by ISO with its lofty IP69K rating, an achievement based on its ability to withstand high temperature, pressure, and wash down applications.
According to Brian Lyle, Cambridge's Vice President of Security Seals, "the unique combination of features, enhancements, and this latest ISO IP69K certification further solidifies MANTA as the ideal solution for high-volume, high-security requirements in virtually every transportation application and environment."
Lyle also notes that the exterior design of the C2K, the Company's entry level electronic seal, has been altered to match that of the MANTA in order to increase consistency in both performance and appearance. "Cambridge is committed to providing the very best security seal solutions, regardless of application or budget," said Lyle. "Having an improved MANTA and C2K complements our traditional lines of high-quality indicative and barrier seals."
